The principle of the touch monitor is actually very simple. It just installs a touch screen on the display to become a display with touch function. The more popular ones on the market are LCD touch monitors (CRT has gradually withdrawn from the market). Depending on the type of touch screen installed, it is generally divided into four types: resistive touch monitor, capacitive touch monitor, SAW touch monitor and infrared touch monitor.
From the front, there is no obvious difference between a touch monitor and an ordinary monitor. From the back, it has one more signal line than an ordinary monitor, which is the signal line connected to the touch screen. Ordinary monitors generally do not require a special driver when used, while touch monitors must have a dedicated touch screen driver when used, otherwise the touch operation will not be possible.
