June 1 – Children’s Day

International Children’s Day (also known as Children’s Day, International Children’s Day) is scheduled on June 1st every year. In order to commemorate the Lidice tragedy on June 10, 1942 and all the children who died in wars all over the world, oppose the killing and poisoning of children, and protect children’s rights.

June 2 -Republic Day (Italy)

Italian Republic Day (Festa della Repubblica) is a national day in Italy to commemorate the abolition of the monarchy and the establishment of a republic in Italy by referendum on June 2-3, 1946.

June 6- National Day (Sweden)

On June 6, 1809, Sweden adopted its first modern constitution. In 1983, the parliament officially declared June 6th to be Sweden’s National Day.

Swedish flags are flown across the country on Sweden’s National Day, when members of the Swedish royal family move from the Royal Palace in Stockholm to Skansen, where the queen and princess receive flowers from well-wishers. 

June 10- Portugal Day ( Portugal )

This day is the anniversary of the death of the Portuguese patriotic poet Camíz. In 1977, in order to unite the centripetal force of Portuguese overseas Chinese scattered around the world, the Portuguese government officially named this day “Portuguese Day, Camões Day and Portuguese Overseas Chinese Day” (Dia de Portugal, de Camões e das Comunidades Portugalasas) .Portuguese locals, overseas institutions and overseas expatriate groups will hold activities to celebrate that day, the most important of which are the flag raising and awarding ceremonies, as well as the celebratory reception. On October 5th, it is basically only a public holiday without any celebration arrangements. 

June 12- National Day (Russia )

On June 12, 1990, the Supreme Soviet of the Russian Federation adopted and issued the Declaration of Sovereignty, announcing that Russia was independent from the Soviet Union. This day is designated as National Day by Russia. 

June 12 -Democracy Day  (Nigeria)

Nigeria’s “Democracy Day” (Democracy Day) was originally May 29, in order to commemorate the contributions of Moshod Abiola and Babagana Kimbai in the Nigerian democratic process, and was revised to June 12. 

June 12- Independence Day ( Philippines )

In 1898, the Filipino people launched a large-scale national uprising against Spanish colonial rule, and announced the establishment of the first republic in Philippine history on June 12 of that year. (Independence Day) 

June 16 – Youth Day ( South Africa )

South African Youth Day In order to commemorate the struggle for racial equality, South Africans celebrate the “Soweto Uprising” on June 16 every year as Youth Day. Wednesday, June 16, 1976, was an important date in the South African people’s struggle for racial equality 

June 18- Father’s Day( Multinational)

Father’s Day (Father’s Day), as the name suggests, is a festival to thank fathers. It began around the beginning of the 20th century, originated in the United States, and has been widely spread all over the world. The festival dates vary from region to region. The most widely date is on the third Sunday in June each year, and there are 52 countries and regions over the Fathers Day on this day in the world. 

June 24 - Midsummer Festival( Nordic countries )

Midsummer Festival is an important traditional festival for residents in northern Europe. It was originally set up to commemorate the summer solstice. After the conversion of Northern Europe to Catholicism, it was set up to commemorate the birthday of Christian John the Baptist. Later, its religious color gradually disappeared and became a folk festival.
