Naked eye 3D is a general term for technologies that achieve stereoscopic visual effects without the use of external tools such as polarized glasses. The representatives of this type of technology mainly include light barrier technology and cylindrical lens technology.

Mainstream technological means
The mainstream naked eye 3D technology methods include: slit type liquid crystal grating, cylindrical lens, pointing light source, and active backlighting.
1. Slit type liquid crystal grating. The principle of this technology is to add a slit type grating in front of the screen, and when the image that should be seen by the left eye is displayed on the LCD screen, the opaque stripes will block the right eye; Similarly, when an image that should be seen by the right eye is displayed on an LCD screen, opaque stripes will obscure the left eye. By separating the visual images of the left and right eyes, the viewer can see the 3D image.
2. The principle of cylindrical lens technology is to project the corresponding pixels of the left and right eyes onto each other through the refraction principle of the lens, achieving image separation. The biggest advantage of using slit grating technology is that the lens does not block light, resulting in a significant improvement in brightness.
