The 6th China International Import Exposition

From November 5th to 10th, the 6th China International Import Expo will be held offline at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai). This year’s CIIE will feature 65 countries and international organizations, including 10 countries participating for the first time and 33 countries participating offline for the first time. The exhibition area of the China Pavilion has increased from 1,500 square meters to 2,500 square meters, the largest in history, and a "Tenth Anniversary Achievements Exhibition of the Construction of the Pilot Free Trade Zone" has been set up.

The corporate business exhibition area continues the six exhibition areas of food and agricultural products, automobiles, technical equipment, consumer goods, medical equipment and medicine and health care, and service trade, and focuses on creating an innovation incubation area. The exhibition area and the number of Fortune 500 and industry leading companies have all reached new highs. A total of 39 government trading groups and nearly 600 sub-groups, 4 industry trading groups, and more than 150 industry trading sub-groups have been formed; the trading group has been customized with "one group, one policy", a team of 500 important purchasers has been established, and data has been strengthened Empowerment and other measures.

On October 17, a batch of exhibits from the 6th China International Import Expo from New Zealand, Australia, Vanuatu, and Niue arrived in Shanghai by sea. This batch of CIIE exhibits is divided into two containers, totaling about 4.3 tons, including exhibits from the two national pavilions of Vanuatu and Niue, as well as exhibits from 13 exhibitors from New Zealand and Australia. The exhibits are mainly food, beverages, specialty crafts, red wine, etc. , departing from Melbourne, Australia, and Tauranga, New Zealand, in late September respectively.

Shanghai Customs has opened a green channel for customs clearance for the exhibits of the Sixth China International Import Expo. For the distribution of LCL goods, customs officers arrive at the site before the exhibits to achieve seamless unpacking inspection and removal; the declaration of exhibits can be processed online , immediately released after reporting, achieving zero delay in customs clearance and ensuring that CIIE exhibits arrive at the exhibition site as soon as possible.
